R470T+ and voip
Model : TL-R470T+
Hardware Version : 4.0
Firmware Version : 1.1.0 Build 20150526 Rel.71817s
ISP : BT
I am having some challenges with VOIP phones on an R470T+ load balancing router.
In particular we are seeing occasional disconnects and phones not ringing
We are using 2 WAN links from BT in the UK
[*]BT Business Hubs set with the R470T+ as the DMZ so all ports should connect fine from outside and a port scan indicates this seems to be the case
[*]Having read the there might be challenges with the firewall misinterpreting voip traffic as an attack, I have turned off everything I can for the moment
[*]the appropriate SIP and RTP ports are open to the phone (and triple checked)
[*]the SIP ALG is disabled per advice from Voipfone
[*]phone traffic is set to use only one WAN link
[*]plenty of bandwidth is reserved
[*]upnp is enabled
[*]everything else on the LAN is working fine
has anyone got advice/experience/ideas to share?
Thanks
