I have a laptop that uses a USB TL-WN822N to connect to a community wifi service. It works fine.
I have a CPE510. I want to connect the CPE510 using the ethernet port on the laptop and create a wifi hotspot so that other mobile devices can connect to the internet.
I have tried the obvious AP Client Router mode in the 510 to rebroadcast community wifi but this fails because the ISP is preventing all connection UNLESS the
laptop or mobile device connects directly. Even Repeater mode does not work.
Can I configure my laptop to act like a proxy and make the CPE510 provide wifi access to other wireless devices? If so how?
