Hi, I am a student in a dorm and have access to LAN. I have installed my device as an access point and it seems everything to be ok, I see the wireless sign on my iphone, but the I can not open any sites. The Installation was made on my Macbook. What could be the problem, i need the wifi for my study, please help, every advice appreciated. Thank you very much!

If you connect your PC to the LAN directly, what is the IP address on your PC? If it is a public IP address, then you need a router, but not an Access Point.
If it is a private IP address, then the TL-WA901ND should be good, can try reset it, or contact your internet service provider and see if there is any restriction.

Private IP address: 10.0.0.1 to 10.255.255.254; 172.16.0.1 to 172.31.255.254; 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.255.254
