I have an Archer C2 V1-1 I went to my country site, downloaded the firmware, all seemed to be working, it found the firmware file and seemed to be upgrading.

However, it did not seem to finish, I left it for a few hours but still nothing.

I left it till next day, rebooted it and YES it has been BRICKED!

Now when I power it up just the power light and a brief flash of light in middle.

No activity on TFTP

Can't ping it or anything.

I have upgraded firmware on many devices for years, very disappointed.

Does anyone have any suggestions other than bin this?

Thanks but I did say "No activity on TFTP"

It will not respond to reset the way it did when I first upgraded.

I installed the correct EU firmware, the device is an EU device, it was from the right Country site.

It is clear that a lot of people have these problems, isn't it time to create an easier way to fix?

If you did it right , I guess you can contact the support guy to ask for the replacement or something.
