Hi all
Im looking for advice on the best way for me to have a long range wifi setup on a yacht. we have a MR3420 router and modem on board but we cant get any signal from the boat when we are on land no more then 200 meters at most. Im looking for a way i can put the anntena ontop of the mast which is about 23 meters high. this should extend the signal nicely. any advice on what anntena to use

kind regards

You will hardly find a way to exceed 200 meters distance with standard client devices (laptops, tablets, smart phones). Long-range APs can distribute signals much further, but client device's antennas are not suited to exceed certain distance limits.

Will a TL-ANT2415D outdoor antenna work with a TL-MR3420 3g/4g router? is there a 23m cable that i can use for the antenna and will i need a signal booster?
