I have a PA8010P powerline adapter paired with PA8630P wireless adapter, which is extending my home network (BT Home Hub 5).

The wired connection from the PA8630 adapter works very well, but the wireless connection constantly causes me problems. I originally cloned my BT wifi network, but when I realised there were some wifi problems, I set up separate SSIDs for both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz powerline networks. When connected to either of the powerline Wifi SSIDs, the connection will start out quite good. After a short time, network access drops out. The connection remains active - my devices see the wifi network, but there is no ability to access anything - ping requests time out.

Both adapters have the latest firmware.

I'd appreciate any suggestions or pointers... I don't see any detailed logging functionality in the admin console.

Cheers,

Andy

Hi Andy,
Which address did you ping? Are you able to ping your BT Home Hub's IP address?
And how does the internet recovery, do you need to reboot the 8630P?
