Skype video call shuts down internet connection on AC3200

Ijust installed a new TP-link rouer AC3200. Whenever I initiate or receive a Skype video call, the internet connection immediately shuts down and I have to reset the router. Other video call apps work with the new router. Skype video calls work great with my old router. I have no pro Any suggestions?

Is that when you use Skype video call, all devices connected with router AC3200 can not surf the Internet and the router crashed?

All devices loose internet connection. The router crashes. I've contacted support but they only ask me to do 7 complicated steps I do not understand. I think they are trying to get ride of me!

Having the same issue here, although it happens for both Skype video and voice calls, also for WhatsApp calls.
We've tested by connecting directly to the modem (bypassing the router) and everything works fine, so it has to do with the router.
I wonder if you were able to solve this?
My router details:
Mode: TP-Link AC3200 (Canada)
Hadrware model: Archer C3200 v1 00000000
Firmware version: 0.9.1 0.1 v004b.0 Build 160116 Rel.29902n
