Currently the WiFi upstairs is great, but very poor downstairs. Currently my modem is set upstairs. My question: Since it comes with two adapters, one will connect upstairs to my modem, and will the other one require a router downstairs? Any help is greatly appreciated.

the other one will not require another router, but are the downstairs and upstairs in the same power circuit? if not, the connection between the adapters might be lowered down or blocked
