Model : TL-PA8030PKIT

Hardware Version : Not Clear

Firmware Version : 2.4

ISP :

I don't know if this is normal or if there is something I am doing wrong, but I have just got the TL-PA8030P KIT and am getting a vastly different speed from what the Utility shows vs a speedtest. My Cable connection speed is 200Mbps and the Adaptors are showing around 300-350 Mbps. However, when I do a speed test, I only get around 95Mbps. Surely I should be getting the full 200Mbps? Any ideas?

Thanks.

impossible! I have AV200, AV600, AV1000 powerlines, the TOP I have seen is 180 Mb/s, average 130!! Of course mind my electrical network is different then yours.

Cause of this, the day my ISP connection will be upgraded from ADSL 12/1 Mb/s to a FTTH 1000/300 I will wire home or the alternative is to pay for this speeds then get 130 max 180 with powerlines.

Pretty curious when will be reached top speed for home powerlines! I don't talk only about tp-link but for all powerline brands.

Same problem here. My TL-PA9025P show around 800 mbps on tpPLC and when I plug my laptop straight to the modem I get around 700 mbps on speedtest. With the CPLs, I get only 160 mbps, 200 mbps maximum. The speed rates on tpPLC are way off

how about the negotiate speed on your pc when you connect it to TL-PA8030P KIT?

Is the ethernet port gigabit port? If it can only support to 100Mbps, that's normal why you can get around 95Mbps.

tpPLC shows native link speeds. Actually transfer speeds are much lower due to various overheads. That's normal.
