AC1750 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit ADSL2+ Modem Router
Model No. Archer D7


It automatically disconnects every few hours. To fix the problem, I have to manually click "Disconnect" and then "Connect". Then it works.

So, the bug here is: this router fails to detect loss of connection and fails to reconnect.

Including the Model / Hardware Version and Firmware Version will help others to assists with more specific/details information. Anyhow, tp-link support website is a good starting point, try the below support link and see if it's match that of router, possibly upgrade the firmware. (or if there's an option in the router to perform the upgrade)
