How to automatically turn off Deco M9 plus wireless with a schedule
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :

Model : Deco M9
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version : 1.2.3 Build 20180818 Rel. 68699
Hello,
I was looking for a way to automatically stop the wireless radio (during the night for instance).
For 2 reasons:
1) Reduce power consumption (be green)
2) Sleep better - because sometimes during the night some people at home could be affected by radio
Is there a chance that a firmware update implement this feature?
Thanks

Yeah. It sounds like an answer from a sales guy who doesn't really know his products. I really can't see why that has anything to do with communicatiion between the hubs. All they have to do is switch WiFi on or off add a specific time.

Exactly. Also, the units don't need to communicate with each other when wifi is turned of. Thats the whole point of turning off the wifi signal. Since there is a permanent connection with the powerline adapter built in, you could send a simple wifi on/off signal between the hubs. Doesn't seem that complicated.

hi all, hope this is posted correctly. Just bought the m9 and couldn't find the turn off schedule function. Looks
like to link is working on it but I would like to have it sooner rather than later. I would have expected that this was a standard function. Would be great to have the function live very soon! Thank you!

So, the firmware update came... and nothing on this. This is absolutely ridiulous. Its been over 16 months now, and frankly i don't think this update is ever going to come to the Deco system.

Can we please get a confirmation from TP if the switch off schedule functionality is going to be added any time soon or at all? It would give clarity to the people that are asking for this in this thread. Thanks in advance.

Let's face it. Most likely their 'engineers' are simply not capable enough to do it.
