How to automatically turn off Deco M9 plus wireless with a schedule
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
Model : Deco M9
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version : 1.2.3 Build 20180818 Rel. 68699
Hello,
I was looking for a way to automatically stop the wireless radio (during the night for instance).
For 2 reasons:
1) Reduce power consumption (be green)
2) Sleep better - because sometimes during the night some people at home could be affected by radio
Is there a chance that a firmware update implement this feature?
Thanks

Hello, sorry that there is currently no exact date or time expectation for the night mode or turn on/off schedule feature on the Deco M9 Plus or M4 new firmware release, it is suggested to keep an eye on the Deco app or the official website to get more updates.
Deco firmware updates are released on a rolling basis, and new features will be added via the firmware upgrade. However, before releasing new firmware officially, we need to do round and round tests to verify the performance of the whole mesh system as well as the stability, so it will take some time and we hope our customers be more patient with this.
Good day.

Hi - we just bought the Tp Link Deco M9 and setup in our house. Some are in our kid's rooms and we are concerned that there is not a scheduling system available to turn off the wireless when we are asleep. Our previous router we could schedule to power-off at 11pm for example and on again at 7am.
Please can you let us know if this is something you are already looking into and if it would be rolled out soon.
For the meantime we will connect a timer plug to all the ports and do it that way.
Thanks

Need this feature too for the m4 model.
Please update ASAP, this is so common feature on other products, no reason this will not have it...

Dear Kevin or Other team member!
In this topic: https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/164664 You mentioned - M4 Deco will get turn off wifi at night function. Today i installed 2 M4 deco and unfortunatelly i can't find it. That will be very helpfull to disable wifi automatically at night. Pleaes help for me and others to get this update as soon as possible. Lot of cheaper "router" know this. My email addr: tamas.lang@outlook.com please send your feedback to me! Thank you in advance! @Kevin_Z it's been a year since your last post, has the auto-off through schedule or instant off with one click been implemented yet? I was hoping the answer is yes as someone online told me your M9 Plus units do just that. My wife is very sensitive to the RF signals while she sleeps and being able to shut off the RF Radios by schedule or a quick button would be great.
Thank you,
Howard
