How to automatically turn off Deco M9 plus wireless with a schedule
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :

Model : Deco M9
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version : 1.2.3 Build 20180818 Rel. 68699
Hello,
I was looking for a way to automatically stop the wireless radio (during the night for instance).
For 2 reasons:
1) Reduce power consumption (be green)
2) Sleep better - because sometimes during the night some people at home could be affected by radio
Is there a chance that a firmware update implement this feature?
Thanks

To everyone who is looking for this functionality or for kevin, please note the following:
1. Kevin apparently resigned. And we can't really blame him can we.
2. Its not going to happen. The 'engineers' spend all their time developing firmware for the next new tp link product, existing customers are not important. This is how most Chinese companies work btw.
So, if you really want this don't wait for tplink but buy a power switch with a timer.
I know this is a pretty sh1tty answer but unfortunately it will not get better.

Aaaand here we go.... Keep eye out for app blabla.. not easy blabla.. Will be in future release blabla...
Same standard answer to all problems. Its probably even scripted.
And they even have the guts to mark it as 'solution'. Hahahaha

If you read my message:

2019-07-08 13:49:14 - Kevin informed us this future will be available soon.
That was more than 1 year ago, at hungary 3 days ago i got a new firmware update. But the future missing ..
Sorry for that but 1 year is maybe enough. I hope TP-LINK deal with the buyers and make this future possible on ALL DECO asap!!!!!
Why was this basic feature omitted from the beginning?
Thanks

@Kevin_Z Hey it's been a year but the option to schedule WiFi signals to go on and off had not been added to deco devices and I think it's a must needed feature considering the price we paid for it and basic router which cost 1/10th the price have it

@Motanul @TP-Link_Deco , wel yet another update without anything. Its been over 2 years now maybe? Don't count on it. This is only one feature request, and there was not one added to the software. I'm never buying TP-link ever again.

I would also like to comment on this request.
I would appreciate not only scheduling a "wireless off" timeframe on a daily basis, but also "which devices in the mesh to turn off", not just a "global off" setting. There are certainly devices in the house (and around it) that need to be able to independently access the network even when the networks in bedrooms or the like are turned off. So therefore, I would like to add this aspect to the question - and I, for one, need this for the M5 please ;-)
I realize this will involve an on-the-fly reconfiguration of the mesh when half of the devices disappear, but this seems to be within the realm of the feasible.
Thanks for your consideration!
Best from Germany :-)
