Deco M5 won’t turn on only 5 days old
My 3 deco M5’s are only 5 days old and one won’t power one its led is blank and I tried the power brick from another unit with no luck.
is this basically dead?

Hey, you can use different power adapter to give it a go; or you can hard reset the Deco M5 by holding the reset hole for 1s.
If still the same, I'm afraid that the deco is just dead. You may contact the tech support to check the warranty.

You can change another socket to plug it first, and you can change another power adapter for other units to give it a go.
You can contact the local tech support to verify whether it is still under warranty at the manufacturer's end. It is not suggested to open the cover cause it will be against the warranty.

As I saed before it's out of warnty I contact both manufacturer and the store, so I will lose it any way.now do you now how to open the plastic case?

There is a clear sign that the two parts covered tightly around the Deco M5, you can tear apart the router by separating the two parts.
