Parental controls not working?
I can't get the parental controls to work at all. I've been through the instructions here: https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/1531/
Basically, whatever I do, I can't get it to block wi-fi. The MAC address shown is for my phone. The settings should ALLOW wi-fi access from 17:00-18:00 right? But I still have wi-fi.
And the UI sucks. Most of the time I can't change the "Internet acccess time" because when I click on the time slots nothing happens. Occasionally I can select the time slots; usually nothing happens.

@JonMason White list your devices if you want to limit the devices usage and make it turn on and off at the desired times you specify but you must leave the white list blank with no keywords for it to work that way. Or blacklist the device to leave the device on but restrict what they can see and do by adding keywords under the content restriction options This option is good if you cant be there to supervise the kids they can play their games but cant go on any harmful websites. Note when in black list option, the device doesn't turn off at the times you want it to turn off it just protects the child during those times selected from harmful websites that you add into the content restriction.
Then to add your device to the black list rule you need to go to your top left and choose the (Advanced) Tab right of the Basic Tab and on down on your left colum , click on (Security) - (Access Control) youl see a box that says Online Devices Click the box to the device you want to add to the black list and click on (Block) in blue top right of that box and that should place that device into the black list.

@JonMason Parental Control is to blacklist some of the key words for content restrictions and kids safe browsing.
It means any websites having the keywords do not appear for the set time (Internet Access Time).
To block wifi usage completely navigate to Security > Access control > Enable 'Access control', and then blacklist mac address.
And all these options working perfectly in my router Archer C5.
I think at present there are no options to blacklist the wifi usage based on schedule.
