Hi,

The latest firmware is 1.2.8; which is available in US now.

FYI, the latest firmware will be pushed from the cloud server gradually; it will take some time.

So you do not have to update it manually, please wait a while and then check the updates.

May it help and have a nice day.

Hi,

The firmware 1.2.8 is avilable on US website only,

https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/deco-m9-plus/#Firmware

And we can update the firmware manually, while it is very complicated, meanwhile, it is for US version, it is suggested to upgrade the firmware from the local TP-Link official website of the purchase location for your device, otherwise, it may ruin the device.

So in other word, you can wait a while and then update the firmware via Deco app once it is launched on your country.

May it help and have a nice day.

Hi,

Below is the instruction  to update the firmware manually.

http://support.tp-link.com/f/76868e6e60/?dl=1 for Windows OS

http://support.tp-link.com/f/bb736b6b2b/?dl=1 for MAC OS

While we do NOT suggest you to do that, cause the 1.2.8 firmware is available for US version only now.

We suggest you to upgrade the firmware from the local TP-Link official website of the purchase location for your device, otherwise it may ruin the device or against the warranty.

May it help and have a nice day.
