Model: Archer C1200
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: Firmware Version 2.0.2 Build 20180118 rel.38979 (EU)

Hi

I have purchased C1200 v2 version from Amazon, first day, router was working fine, then Wi-Fi clients started dropping connections. For few times it is not even able to connect, in between whatsapp video calls, it drops suddenly in the middle. There are no issues from ISP side, their connection to the home is un-interrupted. Heard from forums on amazon that v2 version is not compatible in India, they are specifically designed for Europe. Is this correct? If that is the case then I need to switch my router with correct one. Who should not have such limitations.

Kindly look into this issue and provide solution earliest (if you can) otherwise options are there. :)

Thanks and Regards

Hi,

As far as I know, there is no compatibility issue. And there is no such feedback reported by our customer.

Back to your case, we can do further analysis and try to fix it.

May I know who is your ISP?

What is the light status of the C1200 when the connection drops out? Can you get internet from it via wired cable at that time? Please connect your device to the modem directly to do a comparison test as well.

Note: Please check the IP address and default gateway with your devices connected to the modem/router separately and show me the status-details page.

At that time, please login to the web UI of the Archer C1200 and take a full screenshot of the Advanced-status page; and go to advanced-system tools-system log  to save and export it to us.

Besides, please follow the instruction below to do some test and tell me which case you belong to.

Good day.
