Hi all;

I have notied a feature called fast roaming. tried to read about it and it seems like something that has only pros and no cons.

it is disabled by default. I have 2 deco M4s, should I enable it? is there a downside?

Fat roaming allows wireless devices to switch connection amond different Decos seamlessly, do not have to authenticate again and again. 

 

While with it enabled, some older wireless device may get disconnected from the Deco network; In this way, you can forget the network and reconnect them to Deco network to give it a go. 

 

You can enable it first to test its performance first.
