Archer C6 2.4G band stops working, disable then enable restores
Recently purchased Archer C6 Router running the latest firmware. On 4 occasions the 2.4G WiFi band has stopped working, devices can connect to it but get no network access. Disabling and enabling the 2.4G band on the admin interface restores the connectivity, the 5G band is not affected, a device connected to it is used to reset the 2.4G band.
I used the chat support service to discuss the issue and the suggestion was to change from automatic to a fixed channel for the 2.4G band, this appeared to resolve the issue but it has happened again today, a phone which only works on 2.4G was showing the WIFI as access denied.
is there anything else I can do to resolve this issue.

Hi, thank you for the tip! Checked it but the problem isn't the tablet. It works flawlessly on my ''old'' router and I carry it around the world, never had this problem on any system.
But thank you again for the suggestion!
Welcome back in the ''club''..

1.3.6b down.
As wife and kids are currently out - I can literally count and name devices that were directly connected to C6 (if it helps):
- Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro,
- TP-Link WR 941ND (for abovementioned Mi9T and Solar panels wifi module),
- TP-Link RE-200 v.2 (to PC)

Hello,
Today I had time to use the beta`s wifi moderately.
The C6 is traditionally connected via a LAN port and runs in router mode. It therefore works as an access point. The guest WLAN devices can see each other and have access to the LAN.
My Internet connection is 500Mbit down and 25Mbit up.
My configuration is as follows:
1 TPlink RE300 connected to OneMesh
5 devices via WiFi with running Internet TV streams such as YouTube, PrimeVideo etc.
1 TV connected with 5Ghz WLAN. This produces about 20 Mbits of time-sensitive traffic when watching HDTV on my TV server in the LAN.
1 old Android tablet with Android 4 watching YouTube. Connected to the 2.4Ghz guest wifi.
With another 5Ghz device, I can still achieve 100Mbits via a speed test at a medium distance to the respective access point.
I can't find any hiccups on the running videos of the other devices.
So far I can no longer reproduce the 2.4Ghz disconnect bug. I let this run for 1 hour. Seen this with 1.3.4 and lower.
Firmware 1.3.5 was also stable for me in this regard. It ran stably for 3 weeks.
Find the beta overall more stable so far and the WLAN runs absolutely smoother compared to firmware 1.3.5.
But when I see the other users, the bug is probably not finally fixed.
Will let it run until another beta or stable version comes out and look like it performs.

Hi all,
now my 2.4Ghz is down .
Symptoms:
All lights at the C6 are normal, nothing is in the logs. And 2.4Ghz in the options of the C6 is ON.
My TPlink RE300 shows 2.4Ghz is down and 5Ghz is still alive. (2.4Ghz light is off). When i log into it it says 2.4Ghz is down, please check hostnetwork. 5ghz is normal and is usable.
When i scan my network the 2.4Ghz broacasts and stop broadcasting, it seems that the RE300 can connect for a minute and all my 2.4Ghz devices connect to it, but in the next moment they loose it again. It looks like hiccup... Weird.
Direct to the C6 no 2.4Ghz device can connect.
I can force this bug when i connect one decice the the 2.4Ghz Guest and leave it for one day or so connected.
It has something to do , with use or not use OneMesh. Users that dont use OneMesh see the bug after a short period.
Same for me, when i use 2.4Ghz Guest with at least one device connected. (2.4 Ghz Guest ist not in the OneMesh)
When i disable the normal 2.4Ghz Guest, just use OneMesh with 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz and the 5Ghz Guest it will work for me.
And now i do what i always do:
Disable the 2.4Ghz Guest and see ....
Normaly it will run stable.
So the 2.4Ghz disconnect bug is absolutely not resolved with this beta.

@StuartP I am from India and bought this router around January this year. I am currently on 1.3.5 Build 20200630 rel.57406(4555) firmware with Archer C6 v2.0 as HW version.
I started facing the same issue as others after the software upgrade in April. I thought I had fixed this problem with a scheduled reboot every night, but I see its not yet fixed.
Also got a recent firmware upgrade, but even that doesn't seem to have fixed this issue. Not sure what the hell is going on with this Router and when the guys plan to fix it.
