Archer C6 2.4G band stops working, disable then enable restores
Recently purchased Archer C6 Router running the latest firmware. On 4 occasions the 2.4G WiFi band has stopped working, devices can connect to it but get no network access. Disabling and enabling the 2.4G band on the admin interface restores the connectivity, the 5G band is not affected, a device connected to it is used to reset the 2.4G band.
I used the chat support service to discuss the issue and the suggestion was to change from automatic to a fixed channel for the 2.4G band, this appeared to resolve the issue but it has happened again today, a phone which only works on 2.4G was showing the WIFI as access denied.
is there anything else I can do to resolve this issue.

I have six Archer C6 routers and all of them have the same problem what the hell. Only 5GHz is usable now and my IP Cameras don't support 5GHz so I'm stuck!
Please, can anyone share the beta firmware with me?

I had to replace my C6 with an old router at the momant because it is not possible to have a stable connection for more then a few hours. I am still hoping tp-link will fix the problem.

Do you mean the special build with logging feature ?
It`s a horrible build and the worst i saw with this issue.
Each beta build (all higher than 1.3.5 will show faster disconnect issue)
Use 1.3.5 and lower in the moment.
I`ve have tested the build you want. With this build my 5 Ghz dies.
I`ve sent the logs two times to TP-Link, all my questions were not answered, but they are testing clients that can cause this.
In my case it seems to Apple products. But i have no Apple products. So it seems that a client just wants to connect can cause this issue.
But i can reproduce this how much i want, and i don`t know what TP-Link is doing against it at the moment, it looks for me that they cant reproduce it.
I`m sure the problems with the other models are the same bugs. I`m not hoping it`s the hardware...
If you dont need the OneMesh feature, there is somewhere a beta in this forum, that disable it. Search for it. It is also a 1.3.x build so you can upgrade to it from a 1.3.x build.
I would try it, but i need OneMesh.

I`ve have found the build it´s Beta 1.3.1 here:
In this build the hidden network for OneMesh is disabled, so it is working like a pre 1.3.0 build.
I have not tested it, so it is your own risk .

I am really, really deeply disappointed with Tp-link.
I have owned many Tp-link deviced before this one and all where OK.
This Archer C6 is more expensive than other devices, yet fails so miserably.
Tp-link please do correct these damn issues with the firmware!

So that makes it 3 weeks now without crash (at 1.3.6b). Reboot schedule is disabled so if they don't secretely force it somehow - it seems that crashes are gone...

That`s good to hear.
As far as i know you had crashes with that firmware ? Do you changed something in your setup ?
The last Beta 1.3.6 Firmware posted in this thread is optimized for that bug, the 1.3.7 Beta is optimized for high ping bug only (as far as i know).
I get every firmware stable, if i disable the 2.4Ghz guest network. And i have tested this with every available firmware.
Now I use the latest 1.3.5 stable version and it works, but i leave the 2.4Ghz guest network disabled, i don`t need it. Also changed the options "allow guest to see each other" and "allow guest to access the local network" to enabled, even when i don`t use it.
I will test this again, if a new stable version comes out.
