Archer C6 2.4G band stops working, disable then enable restores
Recently purchased Archer C6 Router running the latest firmware. On 4 occasions the 2.4G WiFi band has stopped working, devices can connect to it but get no network access. Disabling and enabling the 2.4G band on the admin interface restores the connectivity, the 5G band is not affected, a device connected to it is used to reset the 2.4G band.
I used the chat support service to discuss the issue and the suggestion was to change from automatic to a fixed channel for the 2.4G band, this appeared to resolve the issue but it has happened again today, a phone which only works on 2.4G was showing the WIFI as access denied.
is there anything else I can do to resolve this issue.

I have disabled guest network and the 2.4GHz wifi network still crashes after some wifi activity (youtube videos etc). FYI.
TP Link support teamviewered in on our routers and got a bunch of log files and they said they will get back to us.

@Kubas How long have you been unable to change the channel? Have you tried resetting everything to default settings? Sorry if that sounds like what TP-Link would say.

Do you have any router in bridge mode on the 2.4Ghz band? Channel is grayed out only when you have WDS bridging enabled as both the routers needs to be on the same channel.

Well I can't even remember. Since I remember it was like that. I resetted my C6 couple of times. I'll try tommorow again.

I actually did use WDS before (according to the manual: https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/227/) But I don't use it anymore ... Oh but I left it enabled on my C6 and forgot. That's it! Thank you!
Maybe it affects 2.4Ghz crashes - I was just about to downgrade to 1.3.6b which was stable for me instead of 1.3.6 final.

Has anyone tried flashing Archer A6's firmware on C6? Both are same device.

@RedIndianRobin If you had how to install the firmware version (US) would solve the problem, more as the European version has different hardware does not support.

@Lucasm I have both versions and I prefer the American, because it has more channels on the 5g network, I think it's hardware problem and not software.
