Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.3.1

Some questions about the new FW (set of 3 in Router mode -> Switch to Deco 2 and 3, wired backhaul):

- In the status screen the name of the Deco's is custom_1, custom_2, custom_3. Why doesn't this display the Deco name like in the App?

- When will we get all client info in the WebUI like in the app (e.g. change client names is much easier on a PC!)

- When will all remaining advanced settings (IP/DHCP settings, Parental control etc.) be included in te Web UI as well?

Stuff I was hoping for in the FW but couldn't find yet:

- IMPORTANT! Option to select wifi channels + width  (in my case 2.4GHz is automatically set to CH8 + 40Mhz channel width, which is both extremely bad practice!)

- Would be very useful if we at least could see (daily) traffic stats in MB/GB in the client  and Deco view, not just current traffic or total connect time. Or better: view a simple graph of MB up/down over the last x days.

- Client Time connected & signal strength

- vpn server

@Jeehaa

Sorry to respond late.

The main usage of the web UI is to make it easier to update the firmware (manually and view the whole network map, not much advanced features added yet. We will make it more functional gradually.

For the Deco name, it seems that the web UI did not detect the customized name, you can try to change them to the locations which are included already to do a comparison test.

For the client info, we can view the online devices on the network page, while no option to change the device name yet, you can change it via the Deco app now.

For the option to change wireless settings and traffic monitor and other features, we have noted that and we will remind/push our R&D team.

Wish your kindly understanding.

Any update on additional features in the Web UI? Would love to see more advanced features in the Web UI. Similar to what Orbi or Linksys Velop include
