@Marcelo77

Do you want to setup ISP router as bridge mode and Deco M5 as main router, and keep the network with 192.168.1.x?

If so, you can change the LAN IP of the Deco M5 to 192.168.1.1, which is 192.168.68.1 by default.

@Marcelo77

First, please ensure that there is no IP conflict between the ISP router and Deco.

Then, do you mean whether you can manage the Deco units in AP mode together?

If so, the answer will be yes, we can add multiple Deco units into the same network, and we can use the Deco app to manage them.

hello

thanks you for the support,

my status is the following:

ISP Router - 192.168.1.254

   it has then the IPs managed by it from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.254

i want to :

  setup my ISP router has bridge

  shoud i define the ISP Router has 192.168.1.1 for example and then on its range from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.2 and on DECO IP 192.168.1.3 > 254?

coap question is different, my decos are handling COAP messages but my ISP router does not support it apparently

@Marcelo77

So the LAN IP of the ISP router is 192.168.1.254 and you want to set it up as bridge mode; meanwhile, you still want to setup DHCP pool as 192.168.1.1-291.168.1.253?

If so, cause the LAN IP of Deco is 192.168.68.1 by default, if you want to use 192.168.1.1-192.168.1.253 as the DHCP range, you can change the LAN IP of the Deco to 192.168.1.254; while to avoid IP conflict, we need change the LAN IP of the ISP router to another subnet, like 192.168.0.1.

Note: The DHCP server won't work in bridge mode. So the Deco will work as the DHCP server.

While for the coAP message issue, you mentioned that the Deco can handle it, so that should be fine; any further problem about it?
