@Philippe1981

Hello, we will do some troubleshooting to locate the issue first, then we can try to fix it.

1. What is the internet led status of the Archer C5400 when it lost connection? With your computer connected to it by ethernet cable, please click here to verify its IP and gateway.

And please login to the web UI of the C5400 and show us a screenshot of the status page.

2. In the meantime, can you get internet from the modem directly, bypass the Archer C5400?

3. The router always  lost WAN connection from +/- 22h00 until +/- 6h00, is there any power schedule settings existed? What is the current firmware of the C5400?

4. After the C5400 lost connection, please access it and go to advanced-system tools-system log to save it and send it to us.

Thanks in advance, and have a nice day.

@Kevin_Z

I am having the exact same problem with the exact same error messages, and this all started about 5-6 weeks ago out of the blue.

@giento Try running Pingplotter for a few days on both external IP and internal IP to locate the probleme. For me it was probably the ISP. And check the connection between the router and the modem.

@MarcoRenkum its clearly the router. can you help escalate to engineering?  this is a huge issue happening to everyone,

as others have mentioned, it doesnt seem to be limited to the tp link routers. go to amazon and sort any tri band router by 1 star reviews and they all complain of the 5ghz randomly going out every day or few days. its probably something at the hw level, a chipset or something they all share in common

@giento I really don't know what the exact cause is. the failure of the connection no longer occurs here. Have the cable replaced between modem and router, Hard reset on modem. Router to fab. settings and me ISP changed my ip.
I have no knowledge of chipsets and all the hardware and software that are in a router. I try things and sometimes it works. I am therefore not an expert in this field.

Same issue here. Logs look the same. I tried firmware 1.2.5 190411 but ended up rolling back to 1.2.2 170912 since it seems to do it less but happens on both firmware versions. Started happening about a week ago.

It would be pretty great if someone from tp-link would pay some kind of attention to this thread.
