TL-PA411 needs constant rebooting

Region : UnitedKingdom
Model : TL-PA411KIT
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I have a few TL-PA411s on my network which are working fine except for one thing. Sometimes, maybe once an hour, or sometimes more frequently, all connectivity will stop. The lights on the units appear normal as if everything was working (i.e. power light lit, other two lights flashing to indicate traffic) - but nothing actually gets through. If I power off one unit and then power it back on straight away everything is back to normal.
What could be causing this?

I doubt what you said is standby mode. Is power light on?
If don't like, simply disable it.

I've had the same problem, and running this software has made no difference. As I have 6 of the adaptors bought at 2 or 3 different times that all seem to exhibit this problem, I think it's a fault in the firmware that TP-Link needs to address.
I have some old Netgear adaptors that never dropped the connection - unfortunately they run very hot and are much slower, but I may have to go back to them anyway unless TP-Link fix this fault.

Same problem here, driving me crazy.
Windows says "limited or no connectivity" I have to open network and sharing center disable the LAN connection and re-enable and then all is well.
Some days more frequent than others, today alone the connection has died maybe 25-30 times!
Other days once or twice, the adapter is not near any other electrical appliances.
Is this standby mode or are these units faulty?

I have the same problem here.
One connected to a router (Tp-link TD-W8970) the other connected to a network switch.
I need to unplug/plug them every couple of hours

Me too

The connection drops and I have to turn the TP-Link unit off and on again at least once a day, for months now. Happens on both my Mac (OS X 10.4.6) and PC (Win 7). At least rebooting the device fixes it straight away.
What I'd like to know is if there is any way to reboot it via software? Just so I don't have to crawl under my desk every single time.
Any word from staff on this yet?

@mynetwork: Do you have a link from a non-anonymous source, preferably from the manufacturer? It is just too risky to install something via a link like yours, I'm sure you understand.
