Hi @TusharB , the Archer C1200 does not support WDS bridge function, so we are not able to configure it as a repeater without cable connected.
While you can configure it as an access point to extend the wifi range, in this way, the Archer C1200 need connect to the main router by wired cable.
Below is the instruction:

May it help and have a nice day.

Hello, thanks for sharing.
Archer C2 supports WDS, so you can find it on its web GUI directly, while C1200 doesn't support WDS feature, so the guide here you shared may not work for TusharB.
Thank you again for your suggestions, nice day.

I registered just to show how angry, sad and happy I am. I don't understand why TP Link hides the feature it works perfectly yet it is hidden.
I spent more than 30-40 hours to use alternative firmware just to get my tp link archer c1200 v1 act as a repeater and extend my home WiFi. I nearly bricked my device. Yet the solution is so simple and within 5 minutes I successfully completed it.
My praise goes to the author of this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AdQkQokZETk) YouTube video and my anger goes to engineers and managers at TP-Link . I can not stop thinking why? why? why? is it more sustainable for the environment so people go buy additional device? we already paid and bought your device why do you do this. I am completely disappointed at TP link.

Please confirm facts before saying something is not possible. I bet TP link is intentionally hiding this.

If you can confirm the Archer C1200 is connected to your home WifI (for example look at the home wifi router DHCP device list and see if you see C1200 in there), then make sure the DHCP on your C1200 is disabled. For me it was just like that.
