Right?! Also, nor IP and MAC binding or WoL over WAN should be needed. The router already has all info that it needs in order for WoL to work, and it already supports requests from the internet (through the app) so WoL can be done through LAN normally — the request would come from the app to the router and the router would then send the WoL packet to the local network. This is just like the setups people usually do for this: have a raspberry or whatever cheap device listening on port 80 or whatever and then send the WoL packet internally to the LAN network.

We need WOL feature trough the LAN in Deco app

It's 2024 (almost 2025) and still no wake on lan capability? I'm about to drop deco as a product.

WOL is something that we really need with Deco. With Deco app itself it will be easy to integrate to do WOL , if we have 3rd party apps that means we will have to open ports for connecting to the network bringing more security risk. Instead of that it can be easily perfect function to use with Deco App to have Wake on LAN Feature that can do it remotely with our Deco App via LAN.
