Deco M5 source signal selectable?
Is there an optimize command from the Deco App so that Deco slave units find their best signal source?
Is the signal source for slave decos selectable from the Deco App?

Same... I'm running a network with 1 x M5 and 3 x M9 plus.
The M5 upgraded this morning to firmware v1.6 and I can now select the source.
The M9s on the other hand, remain at version 1.5.6 (a build behind the previous M5 version).
Surely it can't be long for the M9 firmware upgrade to include this fundtionality, otherwise there's a level of incompatability between devices which goes against, what I thought, the Deco system was all about!!?

After few years and these issues still persist. Sigh... obviously, he algorithm / formula used for auto connect to deco based on closest or signal strength apparently is not working at all! Hope the guys in R&D are fired!
I am on X50 and X60, c'mon TP-link! We really need this simple solution - let us decide which signal source to choose!!

Connections to the farthest yet lower network/connection level Decos.

Same issue with the Deco M9 Plus, Firmware 1.5.6
Rebooting the farthest makes it connect to the half way one but after a while it connects to the main unit which has ver bad connection.
The whole point to a mesh is to have good connection all across your network. Why is this issue not been addressed yet?!?!
