AX6000 Dropping WAN IP in Dynamic IP Mode (Superloop NBN)
Hi,
I have an AX6000 that I have connected to an HFC based NBN connection with Superloop. Connection method is via Dynamic IP and it connects fine and runs for days with out an issue.
However, every few days the interenet is "disconnected" and I have to log into the web admin interface and manually release and renew the IP to get the internet to work again.
Seems like there is no auto connect feature available with the way I have it setup, and that somehow the lease on my public IP is somehow expiring or something and not being renewed.
Anyone have a similar problem or any ideas?
Thanks,
Uriah

You can try the methods mentioned above to disable related functions. If it does not work, please let me know and provide the information below:
1. The led status of the Archer AX6000 when it lost connection.
2. Can wired connection get internet from the AX6000 when wifi connection stops?
3. The status page of Archer AX6000 when it stops working.
Good day.

Hello, please help us to get the information below to locate this issue and try to fix it.
1. What is the current network diagram?
2. The led status of Archer AX6000 when it lost connection; and whether both wired and wireless connection disconnect.
3. Try to login to the web UI of Archer AX6000 and send us a screenshot of the status page when it stops working.
4. In the meantime, please connect your computer to the modem directly, bypass teh AX6000 and verify whether you can access internet from it.
Good day.

1. What is the current network diagram?
I have a fiberhome with 2 gigabit ports 40/10 speed and the AX6000.
From port 1 of fiberhome there is a cable to AX6000 WAN 2.5gbps port.
Fiberhome uses PPOE to connect from itself at ISP.
Fiberhome LAN is at 192.168.1.1
AX6000 WAN receives 192.168.1.2 from Fiberhome
AX6000 LAN is at 192.168.2.1 and DHCP server is on
ll connections to AX6000 are wireless connections.
Most of them are from AC or AX adapters. (Intel Wireless-AC 9260 160Mhz and Intel AX200NGW M.2 adapter for laptops)
2. The led status of Archer AX6000 when it lost connection; and whether both wired and wireless connection disconnect.
My devices doesn't lost wireless connection with AX6000!
When WAN is disconnected I still have wireless connection to the AX6000 on Tether (mobile) or via Browser (PC/Laptop) acessing it 192.168.2.1.
So I have to release the WAN IP and renew it to get the same IP (192.168.1.2 from fiberhome) and everything is fine again.
AX6000 lost WAN connection from fiberhome trought IP Static or Dinamyc IP.
3. Try to login to the web UI of Archer AX6000 and send us a screenshot of the status page when it stops working.
It's the same page as @ujaus send one 1st page...
Alert icon on Internet and Internet Status: Poor network.
4. In the meantime, please connect your computer to the modem directly, bypass teh AX6000 and verify whether you can access internet from it.
Tried this and I still have access to AX6000 trought LAN port but no internet connection.

Whoa!!!
I am having exactly the same problem with Superloop and an Archer AX11000! Thank god I found this thread.
1. My network has the AX11000 connected to the NBN NCD (FTTC) directly with WAN configuired as "Dynamic IP"
2. Only Wan disconnects. Everythign else including internal networking contiunues to work
3. The only thing it says is Internet disconnected
4. Can't do this as I need multiple devices connected and this issue only occurs every 2 days.

Hi Kevin, Could I please get some assistance with this issue. I disabled the Trend Micro features as per the discussion above but this morning I still had the WAN drop out on my AX11000.

Same problem for me!
- I have an Archer C2300 on Superloop FTTP and approximately every 48 hours I am losing WAN connection (Red internet light on the router)
- release and renew of IPv4 settings fixes the problem until the next time.
- Will see how disabling Trend goes.
Cheers

Is there a fix for this?
I am having the same issue with my AC4000
Get a WAN connection error and internet LED on the AC4000 is orange every couple of days
All I do to resolve it is unplug the wan cable and plug it back in again

@hun0ter Is there a fix for this?
Sorry I should have updated my post.
Rebooting the router after disabling the Trend Micro protection seemed to resolve it. When I posted last time I had not fully rebooted it only applied the change. It seems to be stable after that.
Would be nice if TPlink fixed the firmware though.
I should also add that Superloop support werre great and were adding this fix to their support database so hopefully calling them they could have told you this too.

I had disabled trend micro but did not see any change.
Did not reset after doing that though so will try that now.
Hopefully that resolves it.
Thank you for coming back so quickly.
