Hello, the RE450 has included on the Onemesh compatibility list, so there will be a firmware released in the future which supports onemesh feature.
https://www.tp-link.com/onemesh/compatibility/
It is strongly recommmended to keep an eye on official website and wait for the updates.
Wish your kindly understanding.

Thanks for your reply.
As you know, a new feature will be added start from the new products first, and then it will be added to more products gradually. And to release a new firmware, round and round tests need to be done to ensure its performance.
We are sorry to tell you that there is no ETA yet, it is suggested to keep an eye on official website for more updates.
Wish your kindly understanding.

Hi, As I can see now RE450 has been removed from OneMesh compatibility list. This is not what was promised previously. That was one of the reasons why I've chosen this (very expensive) repeater. Are you kidding me?

THIS IS A TOTAL MOCKERY!!!
I HAVE BOUGHT RE450 V3 FOR THE SAME REASON (ONEMESH).
BUT IT SEEMS TPLINK TREATS THE CLIENTS WITH LIES!!!!!!
WE SHOULD BE ELIGIBLE TO GET OUR MONEY BACK FOR SUCH TREATMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope that is just a mistake and not common practice to promise something under false promises and then break it.

Hi all,
We are sorry for the inconvenience caused here.
There are some adjustments occured over the whole onemesh system, The plan to support Onemesh over RE450 has been postponed, considering it won't be released in the short run, to avoid potential loss, it has been withdrawn from the compatibility list. You can order the extender which supports onemesh already to build up the mesh system; And if you have bought RE450 and need this feature, you can return it and get another unit, like RE300, RE205 which supports Onemesh already.
Thanks for your kindly understanding and support again.

Hi @Kevin_Z ,
I have two questions here,
RE455 V1 seems to replace the RE450 V3 OneMesh FW now I think, you have any estimated date for the RE455 availability?
You say that the date for firmware with OneMesh support for the RE450 V3 has been postponed not canceled, so its expected to be compatible with OneMesh in the future?
Thanks

Hello dears! I have RE450 V1. RE450(EU)_V1_171215.
My home setup is an ISP provided router (Huawei) and two REs RE450 and RE 650. It is still a continuous struggle for me when roaming around 1st and 2nd floor, always losing connection and not reconnecting properly. Especially problematic was RE450, always you can see Unknown WiFi clients with 255.255.255.255 address with no real workaround it.
I started considering mesh options.
Surprisingly I found TP Link One Mesh web page saying RE450V3 and RE650 will get One Mesh support. Now it seems like RE450 (espesially V1) will not get it (seems like it is really a troublesome device). However on the Russian support page I found a new firmware for RE450 - RE450(EU)_V1_191209. However when trying to install it - it says Wrong check sum and stops the process. I did not find this link on US support site. Latest for RE450 V1 is still RE450(EU)_V1_171215. And US support site does not list RE450V3 - only V1 and V2. Seems like TP Link is splitting those two... RE450 V1 and V2 and RE455 V1 which seems to be a replacement for RE450 V3.
Any comments here?
And I need an advise here... Should I wait for RE650 One Mesh support and buy Archer A7 (v?) to switch to Mesh? which in fact means I will have to throw out my RE450 ? At the time of purchase it was around 90 EUR.
Or should I throw out everything I have now (both RE450 and RE650) and go completely new setup like EERO or similar?
Thanks a million!
