Archer MR600 Random Disconnects
Hi, I bought this 4G modem about a month ago. For about two weeks the modem continues to make continuous disconnections that last a few seconds and then reconnect. Obviously for gaming it is not the best. I await news, thanks.

Hi again. My Telia sim-card works fine. Been running for 48hours now. According to the system log of my Archer M600, it has not lost connection at all. Telenor/Vimla maybe have some new features that the Archer MR600 doesn´t fix. I´m in the support loop with TP-link. They ask me the standard support questions again and again. Let´s see what their next move is.

I finally gave up on the MR600 after like 5000 random disconnect and equal amout of automatic reconnects.
I returned the MR600 to the store after being in contact with the TP Link support.
Got a Huawei B535 instead. worked from the first second, no problems at all after a week. Same antenna, same location, same SIM-card.
Over and out / David

We have no Fibre the area we live on the advice of a neighbour I bought this router and an EE sim card. He has been using it for 6+ months for all gadgets and sky TV. I installed it monday after half an hour it fell out and wasn' t visible to connect to because of work commitments it wasn't possible to try again until last night (Thursday) this time he came over we connected up again checked speed all good he left and half an hour later everything fell out again and wasn't able to connect to this time it said the password was wrong! I have 5 days left to trial this on the EE sim if it doesn't work I'm back to square one I just don't get it! I am on higher ground than my neighbour he is in a dip and surrounded by trees his has been great from day one!???

Hi all!
Good day,
Thank you very much for your time and patience.
It is highly appreciated your continuous concern about this case.
We do have a beta firmware which could fix the instability issue caused by the LTE band auto-switching.
Since there are many posts related but limited information provided, it is highly appreciated that you could take some time and create a ticket and provide the following information so that we could follow up on your case one by one timely;
Ticket subject# [forum ID 176312 ] Archer MR600 Random Disconnects and send to support@tp-link.com;
Please provide the following answers:
- Where are you located and who is your SIM card carrier?
- How long have you had the modem and when did the issue start?
- Did both an Ethernet connection and wireless connection drop out very frequently?
- How did you recover the connection, reboot the modem, or something else?
- Please save a picture of the status page(advanced>status) and system log when the connection dropped;(make sure you did not reboot the modem before saving the log since reboot would clear the useful logs, thanks in advance.)
Thank you very much for your cooperation and understanding.
Have a nice day.

Thank you for this!
Could you please let me know what is the beta version number in question?
I have a beta version installed for a few months now and it still has some problems (it is, however, better).
To all users, it does seem that setting the router/modem on a 1x / day reboot (e.g. at night) helps with connection stability, but it is not a 100% reliable trick and it does disrupt any other equipment on the network, may trigger the need for re-commissioning of parts, etc.
Best,

I have the same problem with my MR600. I use it remotely to operate WiFi cameras, but it disconnects randomly and won't reconnect.
TPLink: What are you doing to fix this?
For me this problem effectively renders the router (and my entire setup!) useless.
Why does it drop out? And why doesn't it auto-reconnect after it does?
