Deco P9
Hello All,
I have recently set-up the Deco, 1 Master, 2nd one wired by cable, and 3rd WIFI. All our mobile devices are working fine with the exception of my Windows 10 Laptop (Lenovo Z50). Every so often the WIFI symbol on my laptop changes to No Internet, even though I am connected to the Deco, which show full WIFI signal, at the point of course I loose internet connection, followed by a blank browser offering trouble shooting. Ive updated all the driver, and ensure roaming is disabled but the issued is not resolved. All phones, Android, Apple, tablets, Macpro all work fine. My Laptop is about 5 years old. Any help or advice or if you've had similair issues please do share.

Is it still connected to the Deco's wifi but no internet access or it disconnects from Deco totally?
If it is the former one, please click here to get the IP address and gateway from Deco at that time.
Try to ping the gateway of Deco P9 and show us the result.
And is there any advanced feature enabled? Like QoS? Try to change it to standard and clear all the high priority rules.
You can reserve an IP for the laptop on the Deco app.
Besides, considering all other devices work properly except the laptop, you can contact the tech support of Lenovo to get some help.
Good day.

To get connected again i disconnect and connect again.

@Amo same problem that everyone has. There doesn't appear to be a sollution just a vague promise of a firmware update that hasn't arrived in a long time.

Could someone from TP Link PLEASE let us know when this will be fixed and whether this will be via a firmware upgrade. WHEN please?

After a load of mails, I was able to get the latest Beta release. I haven't tested myself, but here is the email I received AND I got a "GO" to share it here.
If anyone is willing to try and have feedback, please let us all know!
Hi Sam,
In regards to your concern I get in touch with our Senior Engineer, the new firmware seems still under tests; I understand your feeling and the needs to get more functions on this unit; while per you know, rounds and rounds tests should be done before release it; It would be better if the firmware can be released sooner, while the capacity/performance of the firmware is more important.
Here is the Beta Firmware of the Deco P9: https://static.tp-link.com/2020/202003/20200324/P9_1.0.2.zip
Deco P9 doesn't support web UI. So you will need to upgrade via local upgrade tool. The local upgrade tool and upgrade instruction is also included in the link.
Thank you.
