Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hi all - I've had my wifi network with 3 x M5 deco units set up for a few months and everything was working perfectly. I woke up this morning and for some reason it's stopped working.
My internet connection is fine (router lights are all green) but the deco units are not projecting the internet signal around my house. In addition my phone is having trouble connecting to the deco that is acting as my modem. The light on it is red/pink. I can connect and look at the settings intermittently and then the cannot connect error comes up again.
Do I have to reset the whole thing?
Any advice would be appreciated.
:)

@RainNinja

Hello, please help us to confirm the information below so that we can give you a specific answer.

1. What is the current network diagram? Does Deco work in regular router mode or access point mode?

2. With main Deco connected to the modem only and other slave Decos unplugged, please connect your computer to the main Deco directly and test whether you can access internet.

3. In the meantime, connect your PC to the modem, bypass the main Deco and test whether the internet source works well.

4. You can reboot the whole system to give it a shot, including the modem and all Deco units.

5. Or you can swap the locations of Deco units; if the Deco works in router mode, you can switch the slave Deco to main Deco. https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2400/

May it help.
