@Kevin_Z I upgraded to 1.4.2 beta due to issues I was having with our M5s HW version 2.0 after updating them to 1.3.4. Basically, certain devices would refuse to connect to the internet -- our Nintendo Switch consoles would obtain an IP address over wifi but then be unable to connect to Nintendo's servers; our hardwired  PS4 also refused to connect at all.

Upgrading to 1.4.2 beta solved the wifi issue -- these devices seem to connect fine; however, the PS4 is still broken: it will get through the internet setup tutorial - obtain an IP and start the download/upload test. I've noticed it will actually download data fine, but cannot find the server when testing for upload. Any application that actually requires online access does not work. (That being said: if I switch it from ethernet to wifi, the PS4 is able to connect OK).

Any idea why 1.4.2 is affecting the LAN? My PCs do not seem to be experiencing this issue.

Ugh, the Nintendo Switch is now exhibiting the same behaviour as it did on 1.3.4. Can obtain an IP address from the router, but cannot connect to the Nintendo Servers. However, if I tether my phone and use that wifi network, it connects fine. This is extremely frustrating.

@Kevin_Z

Many thanks.
I have tried everything you mentioned in all the various threads.
The only solution has been to reset the whole network and rebuild it from skretch.
Everything worked back again!

thanks for everyone's contribution!

@Kevin_Z  are there any known issues with 1.4.4? Since I applied it I'm having mutplie network issues. My smart bulbs can no longer connect and my AppleTVs can no longer see my computers.  The only thing that was changed was the application of the latest firmware to bring it up to 1.4.4.

Is there a method for downgrading?

@DenniSundaY  Good morning Denni. I have update 1.4.4 ready to install. The truth is that i am afraid to install it. You have received it, you have dared to install it. How does it work?.

Thanks, best regard.

@Rioja I'd be hesitant. I just downgraded my firmware as 1.4.4 broke media sharing between my appleTVs, and disconnected all my smart appliances.

Yep, I'm still on 1.2.4.

Worried about upgrading given the state of the world these days!

i upgraded to 1.4.2 across all my 5 deco m5 in AP mode all connected via Ethernet. However I noticed my throughput via speedtest on my devices dropped from 380Mbps to 270Mbps. The internal speed test on the decos remains at approx 380Mbs. There have been no other changes in my setup. I note that 1.4.2 gave the ability to isolate the guest network in AP mode. I have toggled this and switched it off with no improvements. However not sure what underlying network changes there have been in 1.4.2. I have now upgraded to 1.4.4 and the problem is still there Anyone else having issues? Any ideas how I can revert back to 1.3.1 Build 20190617 Rel 47476
