Deco P9 Maturity
I bought a Deco P9 last week. I'm not impressed. I think the firmware is very immature. I feel like I have paid to beta test it.
Fundementally I bought it to solve the problem that my smart plugs don't work. It doesn't solve that problem becuase you can't have seperate SSID for 2.5GHz.
I'm probably going to send it back unless I see a firmware update soon with a few more features. Is there any news on the roadmap?
I am extremely disappointed because I think this is a unique product. I don't think anyone else makes a powerline mesh. Do they?

Issues i have experienced sofar:
- i do get the new notifications on earlier detected devices,
- don't always see all online devices as online..(sometimes my iphone, which i am using to look at whats connected shows as offline)..
- Parental controls don't work..(you can setup a new profile, but after adding it it won't show),
- Application / interface is very slow
However network has been very stable since the upgrade (where before the upgrades i experienced connection loss from my satelites) and perfoming faster (about 48 hours on the beta), @wcg is it at heavy load when that happens or do you have something else configured.. crossing my fingers, i won't get randam reboots..

@timp78 , let me know if you are experience the device reboots from the network. .I can live with the software issues, but network stability is what i bought these for in the first place..

Regarding web interface, find it is best accessed via IE, Chrome doesn't like the fact it is using old TLS.

@timp78 ., @wcg , do you think if i would want to downgrade towards the original firmware i could use the web interface to do so . When using https://ping.canbeuseful.com/en#ping, i see long delays in returns want to validate if that also is the case on the original firmware..

@LDE so far, I'm trying to understand if it will get rebooted everyday at the same time and then figure out the reason. But I would be doing exactly that, downgrade using the web interface.

@timp78 , @wcg, the original firmware you can download on the website of TPlink..Looks very simple , you can from the webinterface just select the bin file.. (a lot easier than the upgrede.. :-).. just not 100% sure if it allows me to (or if it breaks the P9)..
