Archer AX50 AX3000
Archer AX50 AX3000
Hi
When I have the AX50 router in AP-mode it doen't seam to respect the DHCP options from the firewall that runs the DHCP-server for my LAN.
I can see that the Archer AX50 is renewing the lease about every 30 seconds. This doesn't look right.
I have these options set on the DHCP-server:
option dhcp-lease-time 3600;
option dhcp-renewal-time 1655;
option dhcp-rebinding-time 3005;

@Kevin_Z Yes, if I change the AX1500 to use a static ip address, it doesn't make any dhcp requests, as you'd expect. It's not ideal, but it is one way to stop the flood of dhcp requests.

I have the tp-link Archer AX55 AX3000 model in AP mode asking for a dynamic IP from my home router which serves as the DHCP server for everything inside my house. I'm also seeing the tp-link router (acting as an AP) renewing its lease every 30 seconds. It's definitely not honoring the lease time my DHCP server is giving it.
