Model: Deco P9
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.1 Build 20190731 Rel. 19372

Hi,

Is it possible to deactivate temporarily the 5Ghz in order to have only the 2.4Ghz on Deco P9?

Best regards

Solo

Hi, the option to turn on/off 2.4GHz/5GHz is not available on Deco P9 yet. the new feature will be added with the firmware upgrade.

Meanwhile, may I know why do you want to deactiviate the 5GHz?

Good day.

@solo_fr52 Thanks for your answer.

I hope that a new version will arrive soon.

About your question, I had need to deactivate in order to connect my printer whos not working with 5ghz.

I find a solution to connect by the printer himself.

Best regards

Hello, thanks for your valued reply.

The engineers are working on the new firmware, once it is ready, it will be pushed to your en-users immediately.

And glad to hear that you have found a workaround to connect the printer to the wifi; Besides, generally speaking, even though the 2.4GHz and 5GHz share the same SSID and password, the devices which supports 2.4GHz(or 5GHz) can detect the wifi network and connect to it.

For now, you can enjoy the internet, and keep an eye on Deco app for more updates.

Good day.
