Region : New Zealand

Model : TL-MR3420

Hardware Version : V2

Firmware Version :

ISP : Telecom New Zealand

Hi I'm interested in getting the MR3420 but will be using a ZTE 669 Turbo stick as the modem ISP Telecom New Zealand.

I did notice that they seem to be supporting the ZTE 668+ which I'm guessing is a vary similar model.

Does anyone know if this will work or not before I go make the purchase.

Any info would be great thanks.

About the one not in the list, there are two possibilities.
1. Haven't been tested yet.
2. Incompatible with each other.
If I were you, I will take the stick to a shop and ask for a field test.

Ok I have bit the bullet and bought one since I was unable to get one to test.
Modem was undetectable when I first plugged it in.
Updated to the new firmware Build 121206 Rel.60215n
3G stick now connects but I am unable to connect to the internet

3g/4g USB Modem: Identify Successfully
Signal strength: 0%
IP Address: 192.168.0.100
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1
DNS Server: 192.168.0.1 , 192.168.0.1

Signal is fine 5 bars when I plug into notebook.
Shouldn't the IP address not be a local address?

Appear to be getting traffic Statistic.

Any Ideas.

Ok good news guys I configured the ZTE MF669 to connect automatically loaded the newest firmware onto the router and is now working. Seem to be getting much slower speeds than originally but at least it actually works.

Hope this helps others out.
