Hey all.

I live in New Zealand and my Archer c4000 suddenly stopped casting my 5ghz channels.

I have factory reset it and it says that it isn't allowed in my country anymore.

I was wonding if anyone has any insight on this and if there is a way to turn them back on too.

Thanks in advance :)

@Azazel110

What about the 5GHz wireless led? Please log into the web UI of the Archer C4000 and verify whether the wifi feature is enabled;

And is there error message on the 5GHz wireless settings page?

When and where did you buy this router?

@Kevin_Z

Thanks for your reply.

This is what I get (see attached)

It was working fine until recently

Also looked at the logs, and nothing about the 5GHz is showing up

I bought this about 2 years ago from PB Tech

Thanks for your valued reply. If the 5GHz does not work after you hard reset it, you can contact the retailer or the local tech support to get a replacement if qualified.

Good day.

@Kevin_Z

Hi, mostly all my 2.4 and 2x 5ghz are not functioning. When it happens the warning appears. Sometimes, I was able to get 2.4GHZ after I hard reset and disable both 5GHZ wifi.

Can I simply get replacement from the local retailer without giving them receipt?
