Hi all..

I bought an Archer AX1500 to be the main router.
Before it i had a WR941ND wich now I want to use as a WDS.
The problem is... its not working at all!!!! Tried to configure so many times without success!!!
I did the standard procedure for it as I describe bellow.
- WDS checked
- Survey clicked which shows my main wi-fi network without problems, so I selected it.
- Filled with the correct password of the main wi-fi network.
- Disabled the DHCP
- Saved
- Reboot.

So..when it starts again there is no internet at all...
Is there any incompatibilities between AX1500 and WR941ND ???

Hello, we can do some troubleshooting first. 

 

1. After you finished the WDS configuration, try to connect your computer to the TL-WR941ND and click here to get the IP address and gateway. 

 

2. Try to ping the gateway of Archer AX1500 and show us the ping result. 

 

3. What about other wireless devices? Can they access internet from Archer AX1500?

Hello, I have the same problem. My routers are AX1500 as a principal and de WDS router is WR841N as scondary.

 

When i connect my notebook to WR841N doesn't have internet. I had the same steps than @RodrigoPrado. The connection beetwin router throught Wi-Fi is successfull.

 

Can you help me?

Can you please refer to my previous reply to RodrigoPrado and confirm what is the IP address on the computer when it is connected to the WR841N, try to ping the gateway and show us the results.

 

BTW, please login to the web interface of the WR841N to confirm if the WDS status is RUN.
