I am trying to use a Netgear USB modem with the MR3020 unit. I think that I am correct that this unit isn't in the compatible list but I could be wrong since the same modem sometimes goes by differernt names. 

Has anyone had success getting this modem to work? The TPLink identifies the modem but It doesn't connect. The system log says 

sw3GMobileCmdReq 450 mobileFormatCmd error

I haven't been able to find out more about what this means.

Can I make my own modem file for the TPLink router?

Or has some had success getting a netgear modem to work?
