@cbzvenki

Are you trying to update the Zip file or extracting the file and updating the bin file?

The file works fine, extract the file from the link in the 1st post and update the Router. Hopefully it works 😄

@Kevin_Z  @Sunshine  Band selection when using router mode with 4g backup is badly needed . One of the important feature is auto failover and failing over to wrong bands is affecting me

@Anvesh  Go ahed wtih the Beta firmware update and select only one Band which is strong in yourarea incase if youu are not getting the strong signals from other band. This helps to lock the router in to a single band all the time so you wont loose the connection

@cbzvenki Tried the beta firmware long back and it does not have band selection when using wireless router mode. I am forced to use only 4G router mode if i want band selection

@Anvesh  >> Tried the beta firmware long back and it does not have band selection *FOR 3G/4G BACKUP* when using wireless router mode.

Now I understand! :)

They added band selection on 3G/4G only when 3G/4G router mode is selected.

I don't have a wired internet connection available, but now I selected wireless router mode with backup. It hasn't band selection, but it locked to the right bands... Let's see what will happen! :)

@Ravi-Bajaj

I installed the latest version of the firmware, as I hoped these features were now included without having to rely on a Beta version.

Of course they haven't been included yet, so I'm thinking of finally trying this Beta, did you need to do anything other than the usual install process to go back to the 'older' Beta version?
