E4 AC1200 TP-LINK,

I bought E4 AC1200 TP-LINK the two of them. howver, when i install them the speed, at 0.5mts of distance from the router is 25 mb while the speed of the router is 150mbps. this means that the internet is in fact 150mbps but the Deco is rducing it at only 25 just few centemeters close to the original router.

 

is this ok? should I ask for guarantee? What else can I do?

Is your main deco in access point mode of router mode?

@mastermjr2004 the main deco acces point is connected to the router. 
and when I connect to the router the speed is 150 and in that same point connected to the deco is 25. Something must be wrong with it. And it is brand new should I ask for warranty ? is it a product defect ? Or there is something else i can do ?

The router WiFi offers me 150 of speed and just there the deco connected to the router give me 25. And the router connected via cable to a computer also offers me 150. So there should be something in the deco?

Yes on the main router you need to turn off the wifi feature if you have not done so already.

@mastermjr2004 Unfortunately the main router dont have the option to torn off the wifi. I tryed with the other deco(as they come two) and still the same issue. close to the router the speed is 1/3 of the speed with the original router in wifil. dont know what else to do

@mastermjr2004 my internet service provider is claro Colombia. But the internet of clwro is working fine because the Speed from WiFi and cable is 150. The problem is when I connect to the deco It immediately reduce to 50 max 60. Even when I try to connect tre computer to the deco via Ethernet cable

But lets be clear the problem is not with the internet service provider. Actually I spoke with your contact service in Colombia(Fredy Murillo) and they told me that the service provider was fine but that ther should be a mistake in the AC1200. So what should I do? I really need to solve this problem NOW. this is inadmisible. Summing up.  I have 150 if i connect to my modem, when putting the AC1200 I have between the isp and my computer(via wifi or via ethernet) I get only 50max. So what is the problem? this is inadmisible.
