Archer AX6000 Firmware upgrade ruined everything. Cant go back?
Hi bought the Archer AX6000 and i was happy enough with it. NO real issues.
Yesterday I got an update for firmware, which i did using the Routers inbuilt tool.
Then the problems began.
I couldnt reconnect any of my Google Home speakers each complaining the Netowrk was in AP mode, which is clearly wasnt.
I factory reset the router and started from scratch which took a considerable ammount of time but i still cannot get the home network back to its pre Firmware upgrade state.
All day yesterday your support site was offline for me which is pretty unacceptable, there was no way i could get the old Firmware downloaded so....
I eventually gave up and today have downloaded the 2 previous official EU firmwares. 2020/02/12 and 2019/08/02.
Unzipped them and connected to the router via rj45 to flashback to the previous version... Its not the first time i do firmware i know what im doing.
AND... Nope it just says nope. cannot do it. It wont accept an older file?
Please i am so fed up with this damn router.
I thought id be upgrading to a decent wifi6 experaince with everything i need for the next 5 years but nope its a massive pain in the arse to be honest and im regrettting the purchase.
I cant even find patch notes on the firmware that got updated.... its like its a ghost release
PLEASE PLEASE

The setting "Allow Guests to Access Each Other" is the only setting that I have in Access Point mode should affect isolation between clients. That setting is on the Guest Network tab in the Web UI or Tether app. Maybe it's accidentally affecting non-guest network access too?
I made sure that it was off (and toggled my 2.4GHz and 5 GHz guest networks on and off, and rebooted twice). My smart devices are able to talk to each other with firmware 1.1.0 now.
The (only?) other odd thing about my network setup is that there is a wired network switch between my AX6000 and my internet router.

@BusyWait I tried "Allow Guests to Access Each Other" to have both enabled and disabled but during my test none will ping both ways. the smart devices still functions i.e. my google speakers still answer queries independently because they all can still access the internet but they will not talk to each other. the issue is the local network. it is like 2.4 and 5GHz are on seperate VLAN. they won't communicate I am still waiting for support if not I might play with the routing if I lost my patience waiting.

@BusyWait I was able to fix it myself as I lost patience waiting for support. after troubleshooting for awhile, flashing the firmware, hard / soft factory reset and also tried to enable a bunch of features. I determined it was an internal routing issue, the fix is simply create a static route of your subnet to your router's IP as a gateway. boom all is established all frequency can now talk. I can cast to my tv's and all my smart speakers are talking to each other and can play music on my speaker group. I hope this is informative and helpfull.
Note: make sure you create a backup of your router's config just incase you made a mistake. good luck!

so to be clear, for me to do the same is the following correct my router IP address is 192.168.2.1 so:
Network Destination : 192.168.2.0
Sub Net Mask:255.255.255.0
Default Gateway :192.168.2.1
Interface: LAN
Is that correct ?
thanks

Add me to the list on 1.1.0 Build 20200427 rel.80857 and 2.4 barely working. Sonos system is almost always offline now, can't connect some smart home products that are 2.4 only, and whenever our phones switch to 2.4, the connection is spotty.
We need an update like yesterday. Is there no way to rollback to the previous firmware? Is there a beta we can try? It's already been a week on this bad firmware. I don't want to wait longer.
