@Kevin_Z

I join all the feature requests on this topic.

In my use case I must have one mesh between AX6000 and AR600 connected by a wire.

While being a technical product manager in network security industry I know how the process should work, thus do not understand the "not yet" answer.

Can you please put here the request ID for this feature from your ticketing system. And also such a bleeding priority feature request from a multiple customers should already have gotten a road map priority - can you ask for it and for the time line based ETA?

Dear tp-link,

I'm also very disapointed as other people from this post :(

I'm a big tp-link fan, but really can't understand why it's not possible to do mesh between routers, so many people want's that, this request it's like from last year.

I have bought AX1500 and RE505X range extender which is getting hot like crazy.

I would prefer having two routers for three reasons:

1. your range extender it's getting hot, wouldn't leave it plugged in for multiple days, just for safety

2. on a router, you can connect multiple wired devices

3. this plugged into the wall design really sucks

What's the reason behind not having this? Are there plans to have this feature? I really consider moving to Asus.

Yes, even I purchased Asus just for this reason.

@trypanon

That's it, I threw all TPlink devices away, and replaced them with Meraki router and access points. The difference (and the service) is insane.

Thanks for nothing, TPlink support.

Today I just order one Asus AX-RT56U. After one-two months I will take another one, meanwhile I will sell my C6U and end of story :))) sorry TP-Link.

@Chozmo

Officially I have AiMesh 2.0. I am happy with the excelent coverage and great and stable connection. I has great mobile app, tons of setting. As I told before one week, I order one RT56U. Today I picked up a second one and I created a AiMesh network via ethernet backhaul. I will forgot for home network in the next 2-3 years. Wi-Fi 6 is available if I need it. The only think is that the router do not have 160Mhz, but all of my devices do not has, only 2 laptops.

Today is the end of my network porblems :)

Hello, Thanks guys for the feedback, tons of alternatives, TP-Link it's a waste of time and weak support, I'll use their extender in the winter, to get warm. End of story hitting unsubscribe.

Big WOW! I mean, really? Already bought 3 AX20 for my house and was wondering why OneMesh doesn't setup. Can't believe that this is not possible, 'simple' Repeater hardware can do it, but no router? Like many others, I need the performance and features of routers on each floor.

That was a brief relationship with TP-Link, searching for other hardware now.

I do not understand how connecting two routes to build a mesh is not a standard feature.
So disappointed and i recently upgraded one router to do exactly this.

So lame.
