Hello, do you mean you want to use this router to connect to a public Wi-Fi, which requires a username and password?
This MR3020 can work as a repeater to extender the wireless signal, but we cannot guarantee it will work with a public Wi-Fi which requires a username and password. Below is the guide to set it up as a repeater:

Ive seen that section which gives no clue how to do it if the network requires a username and login, hence the question but thank you. I guess the question now becomes do you have a device which will allow me to do this?
As a background this device will be on a boat and some of the marina WIFI networks require username and login, When I am moving I will use 4G.

Sorry, I'm afraid we don't have that kind of repeater or extender that supports public wifi requires a username and password.
