Why do the Deco devices still resolve DNS for domains other than tp-link when in AP Mode
Why do the Deco devices still resolve DNS for domains other than tp-link when in AP Mode
I am seeing DNS requests from the main device in a mesh setup even though the device in AP mode.
Why is this? I don't see why an access point should resolve DNS for netflix.com , amazon.com ,reddit.com ,youtube.com etc.
The devices on the LAN can do this themselves pretty well or can ask my DNS server for assistance with resolving names.
Could you explain why this is done?

Hello developer,
Now more websites in the list Amazon.com linkedin.com live.com bing.com.
Could you give us a option to turn it off. / Can you find a better implementation.
I understand the it's attached with light but in AP mode its not necessary.

Very annoying that 3rd party sites are DNS queried and pinged from the main TP-Link in AP-mode. I blocked the following domains in pi-hole:
- linkedin.com
- reddit.com
- youtube.com
- facebook.com
- bing.com
- a-rootservers.net
Dear DECO developers, please remove this bad practice feature from your code!
