Model: Archer MR200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 0.9.1 1.0 v004a.0 Build 170320 Rel.80551n

I have acquired the modem TPLINK MR200 V1 through WIND-Greece, who states that the device is not locked...

Tried to use it with a brand new data Simcard from VODAFONE, all settings verified with Vodafone technical Support.The sim card gets internet connection with another phone device.

Modem does not indicate 4G signal (although 4 bars of signal) and cannot connect to internet.

Tried to update firmware for latest V1 from TpLink site and says 'firmware update failed'

Would appreciate any suggestion or feedback or experience on this...

Thanks

@mb1978

Hello,

Please refer to this FAQ to do some troubleshooting:

https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/2468/

Where did you download the upgrade file and how did you upgrade it, by wireless or wired connection?

May I know which country are you located in?

May it help and have a nice day!
