Region : Hongkong

Model : TL-MR3420

Hardware Version : V2

Firmware Version : 3.13.27 Build 121206 Rel.60215n

ISP : Smartone

The E398 is successfully identified, and connected with IP, DNS, etc. successfully.

The ping test within router or computer connected is successful.

FTP download file is successful.

However, web site cannot be displayed and FTP upload will be stalled.

I have tried to use telnet to test the web site, I found the problem is if the request data is longer than a certain length, response will not occur. It make sense to FTP upload failure.

I don't know why it will happen, the E398 is working well as inserted directly into a computer.

The router work well with PPPoE.

The only problem is router with E398 and seems uploading data is stopped after a few bytes send.

Do anyone know how to solve this problem?

Thanks!

You can ping www.google.com within the router or computer? But you can not open a webpage?

I had the same problem in Croatia with Telekom. The E398 worked fine with my PC but not with MR3040. I noticed that the DNS obtained was differently (roaming-DNS?), which problably caused the problems. Afterwords I problably got the same problem after reconnecting to 3 in Denmark. I managed to solve this latest problem by a factory reset. Try this as it seems like the APN cannot be set more than once a unit. Perhaps it is due to some 3G-network problems and nok completely MR3040. I had the same problem with my Samsung 4G mifi.
