Model: Archer MR600
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 191101 Rel.62126n

I am facing an unique issue with MR600. Router internet check and Network Connection Status Inspect (NCSI)  check fails regularly however ping to Google DNS server doesn't drops out. During this time all my existing established connections including skype/zoom/Google Meet/Microsoft Teams works without any issues ,however if I try to open any new web page or establish any other connection then getting  "No Internet Connection  Error" . I have tried with latest firmware too but the issue remains same. If anyone found a solution for this issue pls let me know. I am also in touch with TP-Link team to find out the root cause for this problem.

@cbzvenki

Hello,

Did you get any solution from the support team?

If not, could you please help me check the following information:

  1. Who is your sim card carrier? have you tried with a different sim card to see if the problem still existed?
  2. Can I have a picture of the status page on the router when the issue happened?
  3. When the problem happened, is there any way that you could temporarily recover the connection?

If possible, have you tried to manually change the DNS server to google 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4, and then reboot the router once?

Thank you~

I have the same problem. MR 600 disconnect randomly from internet, it needs a reboot to work again. I use it with ethernet not WiFi.

My firmware is 1.1.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 190412 Rel.66770n

After having this exact problem and scrolling past many frustratingly similar comments... I've followed the consensus and have ordered a replacement router from a different manufacturer! But while I'm waiting for that to arrive I came across a "fix" which seems to have stopped this issue for me.

It came from this thread - https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/176312?page=12 - "Enabling IGMP Snooping in the Advanced tab under Network/LAN Settings seems to have solved the issue". I have done this and it does seem to have stopped the constant dropping of connection.

Another "fix" that was suggested was to Turn off the "smart connect" (I haven't done this and mined is behaving so maybe try the above first). - I hope this helps.

@Michaelehowe

Thank you! Enabling IGMP Snooping worked for me! Now internet connection is stable! Thank again.
